Busy! Busy! What have we been up to?

Term 2 is full on already!

Here are some photo collages of some activities and learning we've been doing...

We listened to paramedic Kylie from St John's. We found out that children our age have lots of accidents so we learned some ways to be safe. Here we are practicing how to bandage an injury. Philip won the first aid kit for respectful listening and answering Kylie's questions.

Don't forget to comment below if you remember some ways to be safe or if you know the bandaging steps.

Previous Highlights

Here are some pictures of us at the cross country, visiting the town library, enjoying the fire truck visit, improving our relay skills with Room 9, fun in the native bush, posting our letters and enjoying the animations that Room 9 created on their chrome books, Kapa haka and Matariki construction craft...Phew! We've done lots. Can you see which picture matches?

  2. Hello Room 10

I'm very impressed that you are learning about the best way to put on bandages when some one hurts themselves. I hope you never have to do it for someone . it is bettter to take care than to have yourself bandaged up.

I think yesterday was supposed to be the Interschool cross country. The weather was so bad in the afternoon it may have been the interschool swim! Or was it postponed.

    See you on Fridy.

    1. Talofa Lava Helen. The interschool cross country is now tomorrow. Lochlynn is representing our school from our class. He is FAST!
Hopefully we won't need to use our bandaging skills for a long time. See you on Friday. There is a disco on Friday night too- maybe you would like to come and dance and boogie!
